Наваратна Шрініваса Раджарам: біографія

індійський математик, історик і лінгвіст, відомий своїми публікаціями з історії Стародавньої Індії, зокрема з теорії «корінних аріїв», яка є предметом великої полеміки в індійській політиці
У 1970-х роках Раджарам отримав докторську ступінь з математики від Університету Індіани та опублікував низку наукових праць із статистики, а в 1980-х роках - по штучному інтелекту і роботехніки.
Починаючи з 1984 року працював науковим консультантом для НАСА. Одночасно займався дослідженням зв'язку, що існує між ведичної математикою і математикою Стародавнього Єгипту і Вавілонії. З 1990-х років зайнявся вивченням наукової бази історії Стародавньої Індії. Раджарам є автором статей і книг з історії Стародавньої Індії та археології, в яких він критикує упередженість і євроцентричного традиційної індології і санскритолог, висуваючи їй на противагу ідеологію «корінних аріїв».
