Івар Лацис: біографія
День народження 11 лютого 1949
радянський і латвійський учений
Івар Лацис закінчив Фізико математичний факультет ЛДУ. Потім викладав в ЛДУ. 1980 захищає кандидатську в ЛДУ. 1991 році доцент ЛУ. У 1993 році захищає докторську. У 1993 р. працює в Цюріхському вищій технічній школі. 1995 р. завідувач лабораторії. У 1996 році обирається професором ЛУ. 1998 голова Наукової ради ЛУ. У 2000 році обирається ректором ЛУ.
