Її мати Ірина Іонеско, фотограф, має румунсько-французьке походження.
У віці 5 років Єва стала улюбленою моделлю своєї матері. Ірина Йонеско робила еротичні фотографії дочки, які стали предметом дискусій, як тільки вони вперше з'явилися в 1970-х. Єва також моделлю для інших фотографів, таких як Жак Бурбулон.
Єва - наймолодша модель, коли-небудь з'являлася в Playboy оголеною. Її фотографії, зроблені Жаком Бурбулоном, з'явилися в італійському виданні журналу в жовтні 1976, коли їй було 11 років. У листопаді 1978 іспанське видання Пентхаус опублікувало її фотографії.
